Dr. Ashish Arora from the Department of Physics has been selected as a member of the Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS). INYAS is a young scientist academy founded by the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) council in 2014. A total of 19 scientists across India have been selected for the year 2025 as members of INYAS.
As a member of INYAS, outstanding young scientists across diverse disciplines have the opportunity to contribute to scientific outreach, policy discussions, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Dr. Ashish Arora is an experimental condensed matter physicist working in the area of high-precision optics and magneto-optics of 2D materials, which hold promise for the next generation of energy-efficient electronics, quantum devices and technologies. You can learn more about his research here.
